This halloween sophomore and freshman chemistry students had the opportunity to learn about the chemical reaction behind elephant’s toothpaste. Junior Emily Lueckenotto helped set up the activity and explain it to all the classes throughout the day. “The goal of elephant’s toothpaste was so that people watching could see the chemical equation in front of them happen in real life,” Lueckenotto said.

The second-place winners of the senior costume contest, dressed as “SpongeBob” characters, dance at Stag Strut. The members (from left to right) consisted of Jamie Weiss, Anica Mackiewicz, Lanie Liston, Ainsley Murray, Alex Smith and Evie McBride. “I thought it was a really fun time and everybody enjoyed it, and I think the costumes this year were really unique and different from all the other years,” Murray said.
